Gong Wei Quan
The quiet man who already knows how this ends.
Gong Wei Quan doesn't lead with volume. He leads with presence — the kind that fills a room before he says a word. Fifty-one years old, Hong Kong-born, wing chun master with decades of relationships across the globe built through the kind of work that doesn't come with a business card. He speaks with a thick accent he's never tried to lose. He wears a gold herringbone chain and gym clothes more often than tactical gear. He's the chief trainer of every new recruit who walks through the Guardians' doors, and he's the one who decided to bring Badia Jassim on board in 2015. He's never explained either choice to anyone. He doesn't plan to.
On missions, the full-head mask goes on. Cloth and gadgetry — ear enhancement, filtered air, the tools of a man who's learned to move through the world without being noticed until he wants to be. He's quiet in a way that makes other people fill the silence, and he lets them. INFP — Mediator. He processes the world through principles, not protocols.
His objective is simple and singular: stop Dr. Clarence. Not because it's the mission. Because he knows what Clarence is building and what happens if he finishes it. He's never told the full team how he knows this much, this specifically, about a man he's fought before. That's his weakness — the thing he holds back, the thing that makes people on his own team wonder why he seems to already know the ending. The question nobody's asked out loud yet is what happens when the person who knows the most about Clarence finally runs out of time.
He is afraid of two things. Not dying — dying is simple. He's afraid of failing to stop Clarence. And he's afraid of failing Dash. The one person on the team he recruited personally, the one person he feels responsible for in a way he doesn't with anyone else. He holds a lot of weight. You can see it in the way he walks. The man is never rushed. That's not calm. That's someone who's already seen the hard part and is still deciding whether to tell anyone else.
