Val Leos
We should have brought the missiles.
Val Leos is the kind of person Dardanos needs on a job and the kind of person Danae wishes would stop talking. Twenty-eight years old, six-foot-five, built like the kind of equipment he prefers — heavy, direct, and reliable. Blonde, practical, and not especially interested in discussions about what they should do. He has opinions about what they should have brought. RPGs. Missiles. The things that end the conversation instead of extending it.
ISTP — Virtuoso. He processes the world through tools: what's available, what isn't, what would solve the problem faster. When a job doesn't go the way it should, Val's response isn't frustration — it's an inventory assessment. If they'd had the missiles, the math changes entirely. He's not wrong, exactly. He's just not interested in the version of the conversation that starts with anything other than what would have worked.
He operates under Dardanos in the Leos Security Group, which means he's in the field when the Leos family business calls. He rappels from helicopters, fires RPGs, and does the kind of work that requires someone tall enough and willing enough to be where he needs to be. The red band around his arm is the only concession to identity — he doesn't need a mask or a codename. The RPG is communication enough. He showed up for the Diplomat exercise in Issue 6 the same way he showed up for the first ambush in Issue 1: ready for the version of the job that ends quickly.
He's not the lead. He's not the strategy. He's the thing that happens after the plan is set. And in the Leos Security Group, that job is always available.
